Brighten Your Last Days of Summer

School is back in session, leaves are falling, and you may be sporting a sweater in the morning and evenings, but the calendar still says “Summer”!

You want to spend as much time outside while the weather is still warm enough knowing that the days and weeks of outdoor activities are numbered.  It’s also a great time to roast marshmallows by the fire pit.

Spending the last few weeks outside, especially in the evening hours, will mean you need light from somewhere other than the sun!  Shown here, courtesy of Radiance by Design, is the 3-light Taylor Pendant featured on a covered patio.  Accenting the wood beams is the Nolan Outdoor wall sconce on each corner of the roof.  These traditional fixtures are being used in an unconventional way!

ALA Annual Conference ~ Scottsdale, AZ

American Lighting Association Annual Conference which is being held at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch from 9/9 – 9/11.

The annual conference is loaded with seminars, speakers and memorable social events.  Rick Seidman, Howard Greenberg, Jeff Norris and Pat Slater join their industry peers for three days of education and networking.

Quoizel would like to take this opportunity to remember those who lost their lives on 9/11, in the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and in Shanksville, PA on Flight 93.  We pray for their families and friends, and we continue to give thanks to our servicemen and women who dedicate their lives to protecting our way of life here and around the world.

Enlightenment Magazine Features Quoizel, Bryan Ehrlich

LED Lighting — Most Popular Bath Product

A survey by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) reports the popularity of LED lighting in baths:

LED lighting is popular in bathrooms because it provides clear light without wasting too much energy.  It produces less heat than the traditional bulb while casting fewer shadows. To accommodate this popular trend, Quoizel introduced an exciting new line for 2012 the Forme Collection which comes in various shapes and an LED nightlight that works with your existing on/off switch.
