Happy Thanksgivukkah!!

The Jewish festival of lights and the American festival of thanks will overlap this year.  This will not happen again for another 77,798 years (or the year 79811)!

Thanksgiving falls on the fourth Thursday in November, and the 28th is the latest Thanksgiving can ever be.  Hanukkah beginning the night before Thanksgiving is the earliest it will ever be.

Hence, Thanksgivukkah!  In any case, we hope that you take the opportunity during these holidays to spend some quality time with your family and friends.

Quoizelians Give to Others…

Big thank you to the Quoizelians who donated food and money to those less fortunate during this holiday season!

This year the New York office gave the non-perishable items to a local church and a food pantry both in their neighborhood.  The South Carolina office donated money to the Low Country Food Bank and for every $1 donation, the food bank is able to provide an anti-hunger agency with $20 market value of food.

The generosity from both offices will help give others a Happy Thanksgiving!!

It’s Throwback Thursday!!

Back in 2001, Quoizel offered lighted terrariums that were available in three different styles, the Standard Globe, the Mission and the Harmony.  Featured here in a vintage bronze finish, these accent pieces are “a great find” when shopping for a unique piece!

Followers on Quoizel’s facebook page have commented that they have found these terrariums on Ebay as well as estate sales.  Timeless designs then…..and now.

Maybe you have a Quoizel lamp or bath fixture that was handed down to you, bought from an estate sale or an interesting story on how you acquired one of your favorite lamps.  If so, please contact josephinee@quoizel.com.   We would love to share and post it!
