The Lazo Family Heads to Germany

It looks like the Lazo’s will be eating their turkey in Germany!!  Alejandra, daughter of Claudia & Kime (both employees of Quoizel) and her dance company will be competing in Germany during the Thanksgiving holiday.

Alejandra, who is 14,  and six others of the South Carolina Movin’ On Dance Co. home of Berkeley County School of Performing Arts and West Ashley School of Performing Arts, who are leaving for Germany next week, are excited for this opportunity to compete internationally.  In April, the team won the regional United States Dance-sports competition, qualifying for the USA Dance Team.  The final selection of the USA Dance Team was made through a video review process by a panel of International Dance Organization judges in New York City.

It’s Throwback Thursday!

In 1979 Quoizel introduced three lamps that were reproductions of original Turn-of-the-Century carvings.  There was a fireman, ship captain and a fisherman out at sea.

Made of fiberstone, a ceramic-steel composite, these hand-painted lamps with screened linen shades were unique additions to the home.

Look for these Quoizel treasures on E-bay!

Maybe you have a Quoizel lamp or bath fixture that was handed down to you, bought from an estate sale or an interesting story on how you acquired one of your favorite lamps.  If so, please contact   We would love to share and post it!

Quoizel’s Warehouse Sale a Huge Success!!

This past weekend was Quoizel’s Annual Warehouse Sale!!  This highly anticipated sale lived up to all the hype.

New and returning customers came by the thousands to find great merchandise at great prices.  On Friday morning alone, there were over 2,200 customers and sales reached record levels for the first day.

Once again Quoizel partnered with the Berkeley Habitat for Humanity organization to raise money to build a new home for a single mother and her family.  Habitat was also at the sale and through raffles, water sales and donations, they were able to raise $2,000 themselves.

Byron Collection Helps Win a Silver!

Builder’s Remodelers Association of Greater Boston awards Whitman Homes team with a silver award!!  Awards were given out recently at the Seaport Hotel & Convention Center under the Best Single Family Design under 2,500 sq. ft. for their work at The Pinehills model homes.

Bristol County Lighting Gallery supplied the exterior of the home with Quoizel’s Byron Outdoor Collection.

Congratulations to all involved in this project to receive this very prestigious award!

This fixture gives the exterior of your home both beauty and an exclusive sense of style.  It features a Victorian Edison-style bulb for an historic look and is enhanced by the copper-hued plate directly behind it.  The clear beveled glass and the Imperial Bronze finish completes the look.
