Are you up for the 150-Day Challenge!

The participants and the trainer continue to keep Quoizel’s Wellness Program fresh and relevant. They continuously come up with new ideas that has helped to keep the program going for so many years.

Quoizel’s trainer, Becky Kyryliuk, came up with a 150-day challenge.  The challenge has started and will run through the end of June.  It’s based on a points system where you add points for good eating and deduct points for poor choices.

It begins with a baseline weigh-in, BMI (Body Mass Index which is based on weight and height, not on body fat). Participants must log all food, log all activity, track points, and they must wear a pedometer all day.

It’s Throwback Thursday!!

Wall fixtures are an extremely convenient and effective solution for providing additional illumination in rooms where there isn’t a lot of space for table or floor lamps. Dimmable wall-mounted fixtures are also a handy solution for bedrooms, entertainment rooms, powder rooms and hallways.

Quoizel introduced these wall fixtures in 1990.  Q-Stone…a grey marbled alabaster finish wall fixture and an antique brass fixture with white or pink glass were both very popular.

Most rooms have at least one dark spot that just isn’t adequately illuminated by an overhead fixture in the center.  Today, try one of these wall fixtures to illuminate those dark spaces!

Additional Pieces Added to Sergio’s Uptown Collection

Sergio Orozco says “Uptown is a journey of discovery of art, design, architecture and lighting…luminaires that are destined to become tomorrow’s heirlooms”.

Exceptional chandeliers, sconces and bath fixtures were recently introduced at January’s Dallas Market adding to the very successful Uptown Collection which captures the eclectic fashion pulse witnessed on the streets of New York City!

New Uptown Collections include the Carnegie Collection which is a mix of a contemporary and nostalgic-inspired design.  The exposed vintage bulbs add an elegant touch and highlight the western bronze finish perfectly.  The Carnegie Collection is available in a 3, 6 or 8-light.
