Back in September 2013, we posted a story on Marilyn Johnston, a Credit Analyst/Collector at Quoizel. It’s great to report that Marilyn continues to impress us with her selflessness volunteering her time with Habitat for Humanity – Berkeley County.
Last week Marilyn and other volunteers for Habitat for Humanity – Berkeley County, were highlighted on ABC News 4 Charleston. There they manned a phone bank for several hours seeking volunteers and/or donations for this worthy organization. Their mission is to give everyone a proper place to live and bring people together by building homes, community and hope. Founded in 1976, globally they’ve built more than 600,000 homes for more than 3 million people.
Marilyn said the exposure helps recruit new volunteers and the monetary donations and supplies help them reach their goals.
