The viral ice bucket challenge that’s all over your Facebook feed has led to record donations for the ALS Association. What a positive way to spread awareness and donations for this debilitating disease.
ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. As of Sunday, the ALS Association has received $70.2 million in donations over these last few weeks from people who took videos of themselves being doused with ice cold water. That’s compared to $2.5 million donated during the same time period last year.
Quoizel’s own President/CEO, Rick Seidman who was nominated never backs down on a challenge, gladly participated!
Many Quoizelians also took the challenge. Click on their contagious videos…
