TBT ~ Fall circulars from years past! A fitting throwback as our 2015 Fall circulars will be out soon!
Recently, a consumer inquired about a one-of-kind Quoizel lamp he recently bought second-hand.
Although not much of a throwback, the uniqueness of this lamp, introduced in 2007, made it a contender for Throwback Thursday!
The Moonstone lamp was from the Salamander Glass Studio Collection. The signed collectible featured a hand-blown art glass shade and base created by Todd Phillips, a skilled artisan. The metallic elements have an aged brass finish making this a real conversation piece.
What a great find! No doubt it will be a cherished addition to the customer’s home for years to come!!
This week we received an inquiry on a Tiffany lamp that a consumer bought second-hand. The excited new owner wanted to know how old the lamp was and was thrilled to get more background on the piece.
The base, a medici bronze finish, and the shade were both featured in the 1997 Quoizel catalog.
A staple of stained glass that will forever be in style, this beautiful table lamp features an arrangement of art glass in soft pastels. The vintage bronze finish completes the look.
What a great find! After 17 years of its initial introduction, the tiffany collectible still holds its value.
It’s Throwback Thursday and Memorial Day weekend!!
Quoizel is family, and here are some “family photos“.
By the early 1990’s, Quoizel was bursting out of its two Long Island facilities and looking to relocate its corporate headquarters.
Management had two locations in mind Savannah, GA or Charleston, SC. Quoizel ultimately chose Goose Creek which was only 20 miles outside of Charleston. They purchased 63 acres on a former plantation and in 1996 moved into its state-of-the-art 300,000 square-foot facility. Over 100 employees and their families relocated from New York to the Low Country of South Carolina. In 2000 they added an additional 200,000 square feet.
