What’s New for 2015!

The New Year brings in new trends in lighting. A huge trend for 2015 includes the bridging of classic natural styling with contemporary materials and technologies. This begins with the usage of LED as opposed to incandescent bulbs. LED on average lasts about 20 years and is 80-90% efficient while traditional incandescent bulbs have a mere 20% efficiency. Also the implementation of wireless and remote control lighting is gaining popularity as consumers enjoy the convenience of such technologies.

Industrial Lighting Continues Its Popularity into 2015!

Industrial lighting was very popular in 2014…and it looks like this edgy yet sophisticated look is continuing to increase well into 2015.

Keeping in step with evolving fashion trends in home decor and interior design, Quoizel has many industrial collections appealing to this unique style.

Letitia Little Interior Design of Minneapolis featured Quoizel’s Emery Collection in this gorgeous kitchen. An elegant nod to the past, this metal-shaded fixture helped add a nostalgic flair to their client’s home. When hung over a kitchen island or dinette table it provides ample lighting for all your daily tasks. It is available in three fabulous finishes.

Besides hundreds of Quoizel tiffanys, Illuminations also has displayed two Louis Comfort originals.  The base and shade in iridescent amber glass decorated with intaglio carved green leafage and tendrils is valued at approximately $29,000 and an acorn shade with a pattern of radiating rectangular tiles in striated amber and white glass that is valued at approximately $7,500.
