Where Is Quoizel??

When we think of Quoizel, we think of timeless pieces created for our homes. However, more and more Quoizel lighting is popping up in unfamiliar places and spaces. Adding an interesting fixture where one might not initially think to do so can take a space to a whole new level.

First impressions are lasting impressions! Adding sleek, sophisticated lighting fixtures to your office lobby will impress visitors as soon as they walk in. A glamorous chandelier will immediately bring their eyes up and make your space seem larger and more open. This Downtown chandelier (left) is elegant and cool, featuring a shiny chrome finish and opal etched glass drum shade. The shine from the glass ball accent adds some sparkle to this simple fixture making it a piece of artwork in itself and allows it to pop off of the refreshing green hue of the rest of the space. Adding pendants above an end table stands out because they’re typically used over a kitchen table or island. These Emery pendants are a seamless addition to this space (right). The chrome of the chandelier marries beautifully with the space’s other metallic accents and provides the perfect amount of light to anyone using the seating area.

Whether you hire a contractor, tackle a DIY project or a little bit of both…updating a room, especially a kitchen, may seem daunting.  But seeing the space come together makes all the trials and tribulations well worth it.

This South Carolina couple kept the original floor plan of their existing kitchen, but needed to restore the outdated stained cabinets and remove the old-fashioned popcorn ceiling.

She’ll only be little for a little while…

A bedroom like this isn’t just in fairy tales.

This dream-like bedroom in Key Biscayne, Florida was designed by Interiors by Maite Granda. “I develop unique spaces to suit people’s lifestyles and budgets” says Granda, and this magical yet sophisticated little girl’s room is a space where imagination will know no bounds.

Inspired by the view of the outdoor foliage, the designer chose the Laila pendant by Quoizel and the matching birdcage accessories. The pink striped wallpaper, throw rug, sheer window treatments and coordinating bed canopy soften this space and showcase a youthful yet lady-like design.
