Celebrating Fat Tuesday in South Carolina and New York

Thanks to Quoizel’s own Benezech/Stricklin Sales Agency………the South Carolina & New York offices are able to enjoy a little taste of Mardi Gras…literally!

It has become tradition to celebrate Kings Day and the Mari Gras season by sharing a delicious King Cake.  It’s a cake baked in a ring, drizzled with carnival colored frostings and often sprinkled with colored sugars.  Okay, what’s up with the plastic baby in the middle? A tiny plastic baby representing Jesus is inserted into the cake. Tradition holds that the person who gets the piece with the baby in it is obligated to bring a King Cake to the next party. The Mardi Gras season comes to a close today, Fat Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday.

Thank you for thinking of us, Eddie and Hal.  Next year you’ll have to tell us how we earn those beads!
