Better Homes & Gardens “Lighting” magazine is on the newsstands and in American Lighting Association showrooms now. This much anticipated magazine, in collaboration with ALA, only comes out once a year. This special publication is filled with great articles, lighting tips and beautiful setting shots. Quoizel’s full page ad, opposite the “Editor’s Note,” features the newly introduced Gallery collection’s island light and mini chandeliers. Although traditional in design, the clean and simple structure of the Gallery Collection suits a variety of décor styles. The slender candle sleeves, in Ivory or Royal Ebony, and strong lines come together to create the perfect minimalist design.
Many other Quoizel fixtures were highlighted throughout the issue. The Cityscape pendant was put on Trend Watch for its bronze drum shade, made up of a metal mesh screen as opposed to a typical fabric shade. A new addition to Quoizel’s highly-regarded Platinum Collection is the modern and streamlined Fleet bath bar. The sleek Polished Chrome finish strikes the perfect balance with the etched glass tube. The integrated LED technology features an impressive 10-year limited electrical warranty. The Chantelle chandelier features unfaceted crystals that aren’t going out of style any time soon. Mixing materials and sizes adds additional contrast to an already popular element in lighting.
“It’s illustrative of the power of light to affect emotions in tangible ways” says BH&G Editor Kelly Roberson
A full-page feature of the Valla chandelier boasts a collection of intricate crystals reflecting against polished chrome. Better Homes and Gardens suggests placing a glittering fixture like this in a room painted a dark hue for even more drama, similar to the one in the left setting shot.
